J. Lowe, A. Nightingale, W. Hudson, W. Price (stroke), and W. Stevens (cox.), competed for the Bedford Grand Challenge Cup, and were beaten in their first heat by the Old Bedfordians, after a gallant struggle, by half length. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">W. G. Preece, in the junior sculls, won his first heat from W. B. Jessop, of the Old Bedfordians, and, after a row over in the next, won the final from <strong>W. H.
