Now corrected. Mary Logan who married Sidney Malcolm Berry in 1907.  The eldest child is Barbara Helen born in 1911 and (Kathleen) Margaret born 1916 which would date this photo\/letter around 1921\/22.  Max had been gassed during the war and in 1921\/1922 he would have still been married to Florence Nightingale Walton nee Wilson. It was said that she was semi-adopted by her Aunt Mary - John's sister - which would have been around the time that John was experiencing problems with bankruptcy in the 1890s.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>George Wilfred Holford-Knight (187-1936) KC MP as an MP pushed for women to be admitted to the bar, pushed to make divorce easier and, in a time of national crisis, crossed the floor and voted with the government - he chose country over party and he was expelled from the party because of it.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\"From the Times Mon 14 September 1931<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The South Nottingham Labour Party at a special meeting held yesterday to discuss the position of their member, Mr. Holford-Knight, K.C., unanimously decided to dissociate itself from his policy and to request his resignation.&nbsp; Instructions were given to procure another candidate.&nbsp; Mr Knight was present at the meeting, which was private, and made a statement defending his action in voting for the National Government.&nbsp; Interviewed afterwards he said, \"As I expected, they stand by the national party machine.&nbsp; I stand by the country.\"\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They lived at 2 Brick Court, The Temple, London and a previous occupant had been Oliver Goldsmith. She was approached by Kodak after presenting a film for development.
