Scrapbook of Morris and Ruby Logan
Morris Arthur Ransome Logan was born in Chesterton, Cambridge and came to Melbourne, Australia between 1911 - 1915. He met and married Ruby Dallas/Irwin. Morris had a long career with the Melbourne Fire Brigade.
About 11.30 a.m. to-day a collision occurred at the corner of High and Bendigo streets, Prahran, between a tram, in charge of N. Paniopti and T. Burgess, and a motor fire cart.
The front of the car was damaged, the glass in the windows being shattered and the ironwork broken. As a result of the accident Albert Moore, Albert Cross and Morris Logan, members of the South Yarra Fire Brigade, were taken to the Alfred Hospital in a St John Ambulance, and were found to be suffering from bruises and shock. After treatment, the firemen were allowed to leave.
An inquiry will be held.
